Chapter 4  Booting and Configuring

 the VG 31-08

  Bootrom  Version is 1.04 

 

  Press Ctrl-B to enter Boot Menu 

Press <Ctrl+B> right away to enter the boot menu. Otherwise, the 

system starts decompressing the software. 

 

 

  Note: 

After “H3C Voice Gateway Boot ROM, V1.04” appears, “Voice 

Gateway starts booting ... ” disappears immediately. 

To enter the boot menu, you should press <Ctrl+B> within eight 

seconds after the prompt “Press Ctrl-B to Enter Boot Menu…” 

appears. 

 

II. System decompression and initialization 

The system displays: 

Press ENTER key to get started when you see ATS0=1. 

  System is starting...ATS0=1 

Press <Enter>, and the system displays: 

[VG]  

This prompt means that the VG 31-08 enters system view and is 

ready for configuration.
