Enter your choice(1-7):

Options in the boot menu are described as follows:

1: Download the application program with XModem. Refer to

section 5.2 “Upgrading Application and Boot ROM Programs Using

XModem” for details.

2: Download the application program through the Ethernet.

3: Clear the configuration files.

4: Ignore the configuration file and start up with the initial

configurations.

5: Enter the Boot ROM submenu.

6: Do not check the software version of the extended segment of

Boot ROM (this option is provided for backward compatibility in

version upgrade).

7: Exit the boot menu and reboot the VG 31-08.

The following sections describe the two software upgrading

methods provided in the boot menu and the operations in the Boot

ROM submenu.
