# Configure security zones.
After completing OAA configuration on the SecBlade IPS card and the router, you can add any physical
ports of the router except the internal interface to a security zone.
In this example, create internal security zone
Inside
and add GigabitEthernet 3/0/0 to the internal zone,
as shown in
Figure 42
. Create external zone
Outside
and add GigabitEthernet 3/0/1 to the external
zone in the same way.
