Parameters
hop-number
: Hop count.
Description
Use the
hops-count
command to set the maximum hop count for loop detection.
Use the
undo hops-count
command to restore the default.
By default, the maximum hop count for loop detection is 32.
Note that:
z
You must configure the command before enabling LDP on any interface.
z
The maximum hop count dictates how fast LDP detects a loop. Adjust this
argument as required.

# Set the maximum hop count for loop detection to 25 for the public network LDP.
