Default Level

Parameters 

interface-type

 

interface-number: 

Specifies the backup service interface by type and 

number. Values of 

interface-type

 include MPLS and MPLS-VPLS.  

Description 

Use the 

backup interface 

command to specify the backup interface for a virtual 

service interface.  

Use the 

undo backup interface 

command to cancel the configuration of the backup 

virtual service interface.  

After the active virtual service interface is down, the service can be switched to the 

backup virtual service interface to ensure uninterrupted traffic forwarding.  

Examples 

# Specify MPLS1/0/1 as the backup virtual service interface of MPLS 0/0/1.  

<Sysname> system-view
