Connecting the power cord for a PSR450-12D power supply
1.
Use a flat-head screwdriver to remove the screws on the power receptacle cover on the power
supply and then remove the cover.
2.
Connect the female connector of the power cord to the power receptacle on the power supply
and then use a flat-head screwdriver to fasten the screws on the power cord connector.
3.
Use a cable tie to secure the power cord to the handle of the power supply, as shown in
.
4.
Connect the other end of the power cord to a power source.

Verifying the installation
After you complete the installation, verify that:
•
There is enough space for heat dissipation around the switch, and the rack is stable.
•
The grounding cable is securely connected.
•
The correct power source is used.
•
The power cords are correctly connected.
•
If part of a network cable is routed outdoors, make sure a network port lighting protector is used
for the port.
•
If part of a power cord is routed outdoors, make sure a surge protected power strip is used for
the switch.
