Web-Based Management
The MS8000 provides Web interfaces for configuration management, including:

System Management
z
Log Management
z
User Management
z
Traffic Statistics
z
Two categories of users are in the MS8000: super administrator and common administrator. They
operate based on the permissions. The following sections take the Web interface for super
administrator for illustration. For more information about users, refer to the "User Management"
section on page 4-9.

The parameters displayed in grey on the configuration pages cannot be modified.
Login and Logout
Logging In to the System
For the first-time login, use admin as both the username and password to log in as super administrator.
To log in to the Web interface:
Step1 Launch the IE browser on the client PC, and enter the IP address of the MS8000 in the address bar.
Step2 On the login page, type the username and password, and click OK to enter the Web interface similar to
