After opening the configuration file, type i to enter the edit status of the file. After the modification, press
Esc , and then enter :wq! if you want to save the changes and exit, or enter :q! if you want to exit without
saving the changes.
Restarting MS8000 Services
Step1 After configuration, use the msserver restart command to restart the MS8000 services to make the
configuration take effect.
[root@msserver ~]# msserver restart
Step2 After that, use the msserver status command to display the status of all the services.
[root@msserver ~]# msserver status
httpd is running.
msvod is running.
mssnmp is running.
msipmi is running.
msserv is running.
mslogd is running.
iscsid is running.
msdaemon is running.
