Installing the MS8000 on a Workbench
If you do not have a standard 19-inch rack, you can install your MS8000 on a workbench.
Installation Preparation

Make sure the workbench is sturdy enough to hold the MS8000, its accessories and the cables.

Make sure the workbench is well grounded and is stable.
The MS8000 is shipped with feet. You need to remove the stickers from the feet and fasten the feet to
the appropriate positions on the bottom of the MS8000.
Installation Procedure
Step1 Move the MS8000 in front of the workbench.
Step2 Lift the MS8000 a little higher than the workbench and place it on the workbench.
To ensure effective heat dissipation, keep at least a clearance of 10 cm (3.94 in.) around the MS8000.
Installing the Cables
Cabling Requirements
The principle of cabling is that service cables (such as network cable) should be separated from the
power cables. You can bundle the long cables with cable ties, and stick a label to a cable for indication.
