4.1.2 Powering Up the Firewall
I. Checking before power-up
Check the following issues before powering up the firewall:
z
Both the power cord and the PGND wire are correctly connected.
z
The voltage of the power supply matches the requirements.
z
The console cable is correctly connected. The console terminal (or PC) has been
started and the associated parameters have been set on it.
Caution:
Locate the power switch of the power supply in the equipment room before powering up
the firewall. Then, if an accident occurs, you can quickly shut off the power.
II. Powering up the Firewall
z
Turn on the site power.
z
Turn on the power switch of the firewall.
