water flow or electrical line interference (thunder storms, voltage surges, etc.) may have caused the
HL message. Simply reset and monitor the system.
Programming Filter Cycle:
You may choose to filter the spa one, two or three times a day as
required to keep the water clean and sanitary. Press and release the pump key and up arrow key at
the same time. The current setting will be displayed. Press the up or down arrow keys to increase or
decrease the frequency of the filtration cycles. To save the new setting, press and release the pump
key and up arrow key at the same time. The cycles will repeat every eight, 12 or 24 hours. Gulf Coast
recommends setting the filtration cycles opposite sleeping hours.
Programming Filter Cycle Duration:
You may choose to filter the spa 60, 120 or 180 minutes per
cycle as required to keep the water clean and sanitary. Press and release the light key and up arrow
key at the same time. The current setting will be displayed. Press the up or down arrow keys to
increase or decrease the duration of the filtration cycles. To save the new setting, press and release
the light key and up arrow key at the same time.
Note:
If no key is pressed within five seconds during programming, the system will revert back
to the monitoring mode. If the pump and/or light were turned on during programming, turn them off.
The system will revert back to display the water temperature within five seconds.
Default System Operation:
When power is applied
or there is a temporary loss of power, the system will
initiate its default programming. The filter cycle will
begin 24 hours after the system has been powered
up. The filtration cycle will be active for one hour and
will repeat every 24 hours. The temperature will be
maintained at 95º F. Freeze protection will be active.

Three flashing dots mean the system has detected a problem with the
pressure switch or the high limit probe. Check and open water valves.
Clean filter or add water if necessary. Shut power off and power up the
spa again to reset the system.
Flashing water temperature on the display means the water
temperature has reached 112º F. Remove spa cover and allow water
to cool down. The system should reset itself when the water cools
down to 109º F.
