3. Winding
To wind the movement, turn the crown clockwise as far as it
goes. For manual winding movements daily winding is recom-
mended, ideally always at the same time each day. If there is a
screwed crown, please first unscrew the crown.
For watches with a screwed crown, please fasten the crown
after winding. This is the only way to ensure water resistance.
Never wind up the movement if the watch is on your wrist.
Recommended is to wind up the movement of the clock with
one hand while the watch is held with the other hand.
4. Setting
Carefully pull out the crown. Turn the crown to set the desired
time. We recommend turning the hands past the desired min-
ute position and then setting the watch by turning them back.
For watches with a permanent small second, it is recom-
mended you turn back the minute hand to the minute posi-
