Control Panel - General Parameters
On the General screen of the RangeGuard Control
Panel, the following parameters should be set:
Sensors Active : Switches on the sensor display
and information on the B
ird’s Eye View.
Show Profile : Enables the facility to display a
profile plot (signal strength versus range) for each
sensor.
Main log size limit : Default value is 1024 MB. If
the controller unit is not supplied with an integral PC
then this value can be reduced to limit the disk
space that the RangeGuard system uses for logging.
Debug log size limit : Default value is 1024 MB. If the controller unit is not supplied with an integral PC then this value can be reduced to limit the disk space used for
debug logging.
Choose display units appropriate for the application
and the theatre of operations:
Speed Units: Metres per second or knots.
Range Units: Metres or feet.
Once set any changes must be saved by clicking on the Save button at the top left hand corner of the page.
