Warranty
A warranty period of 12 months applies to commercial use and 24 months apply to private use and commences on the day of
purchase of the device.
Warranty applies exclusively to failures due to defective material or workmanship. An original sale slip with indication of date of sale
must be presented in case of claiming for the warranty rights.
Warranty does not cover unprofessional use such as device overload, violent use, damage caused by third party or foreign materials,
failure to comply with operations and assembly manual, and normal wear and tear.
General Safety Instructions
Prior to the initial use of the unit, the operating instructions should be read completely. If in doubt with regard to connection and
operation of the unit, consult the manufacturer (servicing department).
FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW CAREFULLY IN ORDER TO SECURE A HIGH DEGREE OF SAFETY:
CAUTION!
1.
The plane must be horizontally attached to a worktable, safely and firmly.
2.
Workplace should be clean, tidy and well lit.
3.
Never use the unit close to inflammable materials, gases and liquids.
4.
Wear goggles, ear protectors and suitable working clothing. Where necessary, use a breathing mask in addition.
5.
Wear suitable clothing. Do not wear loose garments and jewels that might be caught by rotating parts. Anti-skid shoes are
recommended. If your hair is long wear a hairnet.
6.
Stand stable when working with the unit.
7.
Keep other persons, children in particular, out of the workplace.
8.
Always leave the protective devices in place and make sure that their functioning is perfect.
9.
Check all the threaded joints for tightness on regular basis.
10. Make sure that the power cable is out of the rotating parts reach.
11. Do not leaved switched-on units unattended. Remember to switch the unit off if you are about to withdraw.
12. Unplug the unit before putting it on storage, before maintenance, cleaning and replacement of a part.
13. Do not leave any adjusting wrenches in the unit. Check whether the wrenches and adjustment tools are removed before
switching on.
14. For longer pieces to be worked, an additional support may be used.
15. The plane may be used with corresponding dust extraction only.
16. Do not touch the blade shaft with hands. Use a feed device.
Read this manual carefully before putting the unit in
operation.
