Discovering Controllers

Page 20

Each controller discovered will have a status: 

 

New

 – The controller has been found but is not yet configured. The first step is to 

define its network settings so Sateon can connect to it.

 

Online

 – Sateon is already communicating with the controller. If it has Door Blades 

connected, you can set up the door and reader configuration.

 

Offline

 – The controller is on the network but is not communicating with Sateon.

 

Unlicensed

 – The controller hardware doesn’t match the licence. Contact 

Grosvenor Technical Support.

Each 

NEW

 controller is identified by its 

unique serial number. You can check this 
against the label on the controller itself:

Total number of controllers that have been found on the network, and the quantity 
in each status is shown. Specific controllers can also be searched for by name. The 
order controllers are displayed can be changed by using the Sort By option.
