Installing Sateon

If you aren’t using the Mini PC, you
need to install the Sateon software on
a suitable desktop PC or server.

From the USB flash drive provided,
run

SateonSetup

On the first dialog, check and agree
the licence terms.

On the Install menu, click the

Express

button.

Minimum requirements

2 GHz or faster 64-bit 4-core
processor, 8 GB RAM and a 64 GB
hard drive. (Larger systems may
need higher specifications).

The operating system must be
Windows Server 2012 R2, Server
2016 R2, Windows 8.1 or Windows
10 (Professional or Enterprise).

Make sure all Service Packs and
updates are installed.

The Express option will set up everything
needed to run Sateon on a single
computer, including SQL Server 2016.
You may need to restart the computer
part way through the process. The Sateon
installation will continue automatically
after the restart.

Once the installation is complete, you are
ready to run Sateon.
