SECTION 6: MAINTENANCE
To reduce risk of shock or
accidental startup, always
disconnect machine from
power before adjustments,
maintenance, or service.
Always wear a respirator,
safety goggles, and gloves
when cleaning the filters.
Sawdust may cause allergic
reactions or respiratory
problems.
Schedule
For optimum performance from this machine, this
maintenance schedule must be strictly followed.
Ongoing
To minimize your risk of injury and maintain proper
machine operation, shut down the machine imme-
diately if you ever observe any of the items below,
and fix the problem before continuing operations:
•
Loose or damaged mounting hardware.
•
Dirty or clogged filters.
•
Worn or damaged wires.
•
Any other unsafe condition.
Cleaning/Replacing
Filters
The volume of air filtered has a direct correlation
to when you must clean or replace the filters.
To maintain efficient operation, check the filters
approximately every 40 hours of use in light or
moderately dusty environments. In very dusty
environments, check the filters every eight hours
of use. Always wear a respirator when checking
the filters.
