To lubricate feed roller chain drive:
1. DISCONNECT MACHINE FROM POWER!
2. Remove top and side covers to expose
sprockets and chains (see
Figure 33).
3. Use mineral spirits, stiff brush, and shop rags
to clean old grease from chains.
4. Apply light coating of grease to chain linkage
and sprockets.
5. Re-install covers.

pinion gears and shaft.
4. Allow mineral spirits to dry, then apply light
coat of oil to surfaces.
5. Tilt machine back onto base.
6. Move cutterhead up and down to evenly
distribute oil.

To lubricate elevation leadscrews & columns:
1. DISCONNECT MACHINE FROM POWER!
2. Lower headstock fully and remove top and
side panels to expose (2) leadscrews.
3. Vacuum chips and dust off leadscrews (see
Figure 32).

Oil Type ................. T27914 or ISO 68 Equivalent

4. Use mineral spirits, stiff brush, and shop rags
to remove old lubricant.
5. Spray lubricant onto each leadscrew and
column, taking care to keep it off the belt. Move
cutterhead up and down to evenly distribute.
To lubricate table height gears:
1. DISCONNECT MACHINE FROM POWER!
2. Gently tilt machine onto its back (see Figure
34) to expose gears.
