LEDS
MP AVR-51 is provided with 2 LEDs to visualize power supply status.
Please refer to figure 5 to locate the LEDs.

JUMPER
To switch between MCS51 family and AVR family a three pins jumper must be moved. This jumper
is installed on the PCB inside the plastic shell of the programmer, near the socket on the component
side. A label indicates the jumper connection for selecting one of the two families. Please refer to the
notes written in file “README_P.TXT” for further information.
Please remark that opening the programmer plastic shell may cause damages if power supply is
connected. Disconnect power supply before attempting any operation.
INSTALLING PROGRAMMER SOFTWARE
The programmer package contains a floppy disk(s) or CD with the control program, useful utilities
and additional information. We recommend making a copy of the original disk(s). The permission
to freely copy the content of the floppy is granted in order to demonstrate how programmers work.
Differences and modifications to this manual (if they exist) may be found in README_P.TXT file
on the included floppy.

LED COLOUR DESCRIPTION
Power LED Green
When on, indicates that the programmer is
supplied and working.
Busy LED Red
When on, indicates that the device in the socket is
being accessed, therefore it must not be removed.
It flashes once when an error condition occours.
