Modifying vStore Properties

You can modify the quota property of a vStore. The quota is the maximum amount of drive space you

allow for the vStore.

Note:

The GridProtect level property cannot be edited after the vStore has been created. (The

GridProtect level is the number of Gridstore Storage Nodes that can withstand failure while still

allowing the vStore's data to be protected and accessible.)

In the left navigation tree of GridControl, navigate to the appropriate vStore. To do so:

•

Click the plus sign next to

vPools to expand it.

•

Click the plus sign next to the vPool that contains the appropriate vStore, to expand that

vPool.

•

Click the plus sign next to

vStores to expand it.

Click the vStore whose quota you would like to change.

The vStore window for the selected vStore opens to the right.

In the left navigation tree, right-click on the appropriate vStore, and select Change Quota

from the short-cut menu.
