Disassembly of Outdoor Unit

18,000 and 24,000 btuh

Warning - Wait 10 minutes after power is disconnected before starting disassembly

8. Remove the 4 way valve assembly

9. Remove compressor

1. Remove the screws holding the 4-way valve coil.

Properly remove refrigerant, protect valve from heat

damage and remove valve.

2. Unsolder the tubing connecting the compressor and

condenser assembly, then remove the 4-way valve.

1. Remove the three foot nuts on compressor, then

carefully remove the compressor.
