Frame Lock Field Functions

Models with Wing Lock Option

Refer to Figure 21

1. The down float stop

should always stay in the

raised position. The extension frame rests on this

stop to hold the planter rigid in field position.

Refer to Figure 22

2. The outer wing lock pin should always be removed

from the storage location

and placed in the locking

location

for field operation. This pin locks the outer

wing frame and the extension frame together to hold

the wing frame level.

3. The inner wing lock pin should be removed from the

storage location

and placed in the frame locking

location

for field operation. This pin holds the wing

frame down in the field for uniform weight transfer

with a rigid frame.
