The menu point EPA servo End-point Adjustment enables
you to increase or reduce maximum servo travel
separately for each servo, and for each direction from
centre. Available for steering, throttle/brake and function
3.
End-point adjustment enables you to adjust servo travel
to meet the requirements of the model.
The adjustment range is from 0% to 125%. The factory
default setting is 100% for both directions.
The direction of adjustment displayed on the screen is
reversed by moving the associated transmitter control
(steering wheel, throttle/brake lever, function 3) in the
opposite direction.
Accessing the Servo End-point Adjustment
menu
1. Switch the transmitter on to reach the Function Menu.
2. Press the MODE button repeatedly until the screen
shows the servo travel End-point Adjustment menu
EPA.
3. Use the CHANNEL button to select the function you
wish to adjust: ST (Steering), steering wheel/steering;
TH (Throttle) throttle/brake lever, or AUX (Aux.
channel) 3rd servo function.
4. Move the associated transmitter control in the direction
you wish to adjust (left/right, forward/back or brake),
then set the appropriate servo end-point using the
INC+ or DEC- buttons. Move the transmitter control
in the opposite direction, then adjust the opposite end
of the servo’s travel.
5. Switch the transmitter OFF/ON briefly to store the set
values and quit the EPA (servo travel End-point
Adjustment menu). The transmitter reverts to the base
screen display.
Note: Although it is possible to set different travels for
the steering servo to either side of centre, we recommend
that you set identical travels (same left as right) if possible,
otherwise the car will exhibit different turning
characteristics to either side.
