Control Surface Troubleshooting

 

P Power Supply Diagnostics

A Test Power Supply A Presence

Confirm both power supplies are 
powered up. Observe terminal dis-
play for all tests. 

Terminal will indicate PASS if 
power supply present.

B Test Power Supply B Presence

C Test Power Supply A 12V Supply

Terminal will indicate PASS if 
power supply present and +12V 
is good.

D Test Power Supply A 5V Supply

Terminal will indicate PASS if 
power supply present and +5V 
is good.

E Test Power Supply B 12V Supply

Terminal will indicate PASS if 
power supply present and +12V 
is good.

F Test Power Supply B 5V Supply

Terminal will indicate PASS if 
power supply present and +5V 
is good.

L Test All Supplies and Voltages

Results of all power supply 
readings will be reported in tab-
ular form on terminal. User will 
be asked to confirm power sup-
ply indicators are correct.

S Serial Channel Diagnostics

1 Test Satellite Panel 1 Channel Internal 
Loopback

Observe terminal display. 

Terminal will report DONE 
PASS or DONE FAIL after inter-
nal loopback data test is per-
formed at each of four baud
