System Communications port
The system communications port provides communications between the heating
circulator and refrigerated bath. The communications cable should remain connected at
all times.
Only use the communications port cable supplied with the system. Do not connect
anything else to this communication port
USB Port
The heating circvulator provides a USB data port for communication with a PC running
Grant Labwise
™ software. Labwise™ provides the ability to remotely configure, control,
monitor programs as well as log program temperature data.
The USB cable is a Type A to Type B style.
Switched relay port
An internal relay provides switch over contacts that can be used to control external
equipment. See Section 5.1.5 for details of the relay contacts and connector type.
External probe input
An external PT1000 thermocouple temperature probe is available from Grant
instruments.
This enables temperature control based on the temperature at a different location within
the user’s system. For further advice on the use of external temperature contact Grant
Instruments
Mains Power cable inlet and switch
For connection to the mains power outlet on the refrigerated bath on 230V equipment.
Use the mains link-cord supplied with the system. For 120V units there is a fixed mains
cable with plug fitted for connection directly to a mains power outlet.
