Material Loading
NOTE:
Before loading material, make sure there is a
minimum overhead clearance of 110” (2.8 m) and all
air regulators are backed off to their full counterclock-
wise position.
1.
Turn on the air supply (Fig. 11).

Place the ram UP/DOWN lever (Fig. 12) in the UP
position .

SLOWLY
turn the ram UP regulator clockwise until
the ram begins to rise.

CAUTION
As the ram rises, carefully observe the heated hose
cables, making sure they do not catch on any com-
ponents. If a cable catches, immediately stop the
ram from raising by putting the RAM
UP – DOWN lever into the down or neutral position
and route the hose cables to prevent damage.
4.
When ram is fully raised, install the drum centering
guides, which were shipped separately to prevent
damage.
5.
Apply a thin coating of Graco TSL oil to the follow-
er plate drum seals (Fig. 14).

6.
Open material container, remove any packing
material, and inspect material for any contamina-
tion.
