Troubleshooting

Correction

Check that both encoder cables are fully 

plugged into SureStitch and an encoder.
Make sure the O-rings on both encoders 

are on the track. When the top and 

bottom carriages are moved, the O-ring 

should ride the track like a wheel.
Check that the lock collars on both 

encoders point upward. If they do not, 

twist the lock collars to point up and 

use a 2.5 mm Allen wrench to tighten 

the lock collars in place.
Gently

 lift the O-ring off the track a 

couple centimeters. It should resist 

being picked up. If it does not, the 

encoder may not be assembled 

correctly, or the spring may be broken.
