Test your bobbin’s thread tension: 
a.  Place the bobbin case on your palm, 

on it side. 

b.  Pull up on the thread. 
c.  If the tension is correct, the bobbin 

case will stand up but not lift up out 

of your palm. 

Thread your sewing machine (see your 

machine’s manual for details).
