With HyperTerminal the file is transferred as follows:

Choose
Send Text file
in the menu
Transfer
. The following window will be
opened:

Switch to disk drive (in our example, the files are located on the hard disk) and select
the respective *.txt file.

Open

). The file will be transferred and (if you have chosen the right
file) the monitor program will be started. The menus will then appear directly in the
HyperTerminal window. At first, you will see the main menu from Figure 13.
6.2.2 How to work with the monitor program
ATTENTION!
Do only alter values in the system interface, as false information to the timing values may
affect the transponder decoding and positioning accuracy will be decrease if the calculation
coefficients are altered!
Any change to the interface parameters will be activated after a system reset (switch the
antenna off and on again). Afterwards it may be necessary to use a different file from the
four given *txt. documents for the monitor call!
Once the transfer of the *txt.file (refer to 6.2.1) has been completed, the monitor program
will start the main menu. If this is not the case, you have either based your settings on wrong
system configuration or you are using a different terminal emulation or you did not adjust
the character delay to 1 ms.
