Color and DNC
These can be set to between 0 and 30.
DNC is digital noise control. If the UHF picture or video input signal has
picture interference, DNC can be used to reduce the effect. The higher the
setting the more control applied. It operates by reducing sudden changes
in contrast between elements of the screen. If you have a good signal and
you apply a high level of DNC you may loose some picture definition.
Photo CD
If viewing still photographs from a DVD player, set
Photo CD
to
On
. This
will select settings for the DNC and interlacing so that the picture quality is
optimised.
Interlace
This is the method that the television uses to display the picture on the
screen. It can be set to:

Auto Mode
•
Still
•
Movie
•
Camera
The settings will optimise the picture quality for the type of signal input.
Alternatively you can leave it on
Auto Mode
where the television will
analyse the signal and determine the best interlace method.
Display setup
Your TV has several settings which allow you to control the way the
picture is displayed.
Press the
MENU
button, the P button twice and the
VOL+
button. The
display menu will appear as shown below.
