Manual and fine tuning
If you know the frequency of a program you can tune the television in the
Manual Search menu. You can also use this menu to fine tune an existing
program.
To tune to a known frequency proceed as follows:
1. Press the
MENU button. The main menu will appear.
2. Press the VOL+ button. The Inputs menu will appear.
3. If Tuner is displayed on the Select line go to step 6 below. If it is not
use either of the P or P buttons to highlight Select and press the
VOL+ button. The Select will change to green.
4. Use either of the P or P buttons to scroll through the source
options until Tuner is displayed.
5. Press the VOL- button
6. Use either of the P or P buttons to highlight Source Settings and
press VOL+ . The tuner menu will be displayed.
7. Use either of the P or P buttons to highlight Manual Search and
press VOL+ . The manual search menu will be displayed as below.
8. If necessary use either of the P or P buttons to highlight
Programme and press VOL+ . Programme will change to green and
the program number will flash.
9. Enter the number of the program you wish to use and repeatedly press
VOL- until Programme changes to blue.
10.The television standard used in the UK is PAL I. If the TV Standard is
set to PAL I then go to step 13. If not use either of the P or P
buttons to highlight
TV Standard and press the VOL+ button. The TV
Standard will change to green.
11. Use either of the P or P buttons to scroll through the TV standard
options until PAL I is displayed.
12.Press the VOL- button.
