Insert Tape

Insert a prerecorded tape, such as a rented
movie in Deck 1.
Notes:
• Movie Advance only works in Deck 1.
• VHS tapes must be recorded in SP speed

with the record safety tab removed.

Open “Search Menu”

Press the Search/Index button on the
remote control.

Note: Rows 6 and 7 on the “Search Menu”
are displayed only if there is a VHS tape
inserted in Deck 1 with the record safety-
tab removed.

Select “Find Start of Movie”

From the “Search” menu, press 7.

The “Searching For Start of Movie” screen
appears while the VCR is searching for the
beginning of the movie.

Play the Movie

When the movie is detected, the “The
movie is ready” screen appears and the
movie is paused. Press Play to start the
movie.

Find Start of Movie
