9 Confirm or Cancel
To mark the commercials on the recording
no action is required, simply wait the 59
seconds for the confirmation screen to
count down.
To cancel, press Stop in Deck 1 and the
commercials will not be marked.
Mark Commercials
After the confirmation screen counts down,
the VCR will rewind the tape, and then
search forward and mark groups of com-
mercials. This process takes approximately
15 minutes for each hour of recorded tape.
The VCR will stop when finished.
Rewind Tape
When the VCR is finished marking com-
mercials, rewind the tape and proceed to
Commercial Advance Playback (see page
75).

Note:
If you are not present for
the 59 second count down
screen, the VCR will
automatically mark the
commercials. Therefore, if
you set a Timer Recording,
VCR Plus+, or One Touch
Recording and the TV is
turned off, the commercials
will still be marked.
