Gum (7)
Connect to Gum Container.
" When inserting the gum return hoses (7) into the gum container, make sure
that the hose ends are never below the gum surface (see illustration below).
Gum (10) (Blue)
(Container sensor optional). Connect to Gum Container.
" The gum hose (10) should be cut off to the shortest possible length to avoid
any sagging and formation of water traps and/or air pockets.
Tap water (22)
Make connection from water tap to solenoid valve underneath the processor.
Water supply
$ Water supply must be equipped with a DIN 1988-approved return valve.
A water tap should be installed next to the installation site of the machine. Max. dis-
tance to the water tap should be 5 m (16.4 ft). The tap must be able to accept a rein -
forced hose minimum 15 mm (19/32") inner diameter. This hose is not included with
the machine.
Another possibility is to provide the machine with tempered water through a thermo-
statically controlled mixing valve.
The water supply must be capable of supplying a minimum of 20 litres/min.
(5 US gal./min.) at a pressure of no less than 2.75 bar (40 psi), and fitted with a check
valve.
