Rules for Shredding
Please observe local regulations on
operating hours, if applicable.
Servicing and
Maintenance
Pull out the mains plug before be-
ginning any work on the machine!
Clean the shredder with a hand brush or
a damp cloth.
Spray the blades and bolts with an anti-
corrosive agent.
Check all screws periodically for a tight
fit and retighten when necessary.
Store the unit in a
dry place
.
The machine may not be cleaned
with a high-pressure cleaner or a
strong jet of water.
To transport the shredder in a passen-
ger car, remove the upper part of the
housing

as follows:

turn upper part of housing

90° and
lift it out of the articulated fork (fig.
B
).
Do not tilt upper part of hous-
ing

when lifting it out or replacing
it.
Changing blades

Remove upper part of housing

as described.
Block blade plate

. Using a socket
wrench, loosen the nuts M 16 (24mm)
by turning to the left. When assembling,
make sure the nuts are tight. Required
torque 100 Nm. Fit the nuts only with a
locking ring.
Remove the blade plate

from the
shaft using a rod iron and open-jawed
spanner.
Remove the triangular blades

using
a hexagon socket wrench, turn it and
replace it with the sharp edge up.
