The lid for this unit has a safety float valve that prevents the user from 

     opening the lid when the cooker is pressurized. DO NOT OPEN THE LID 

     UNTIL INTERNAL PRESSURE HAS BEEN RELEASED. NEVER FORCE THE 

     LID OPEN.

  • Always use handles and wear oven mitts when handling hot food or 

     appliances. DO NOT attempt to move an appliance when it is hot or has 

     hot contents.

  • DO NOT use outdoors.

  • Turn off and unplug this appliance when not in use.
