Cable routing is critical. It is very important to route and dress the cables properly.
Exercise care in routing the cables, keeping in mind that the door(s) opens and closes
for service. Ensure that there is no interference after the cables are connected and
routed.

Using a multimeter, ensure that you have a good chassis ground where the card reader’s
ground cable is connected to the chassis.

Double check all wires and connections and then remove LOTO kit.

Apply power to the unit.

Ensure that the HCRS is activated before it is used. For more information, refer to
A: Configuring/Activating FlexPay EMV CRIND Keypad”

Run a debit or credit sale to verify the proper operation of the card reader.
