3.3.3. Port Management - Bandwidth Control 

 

This page allows the setting of the bandwidth for each port.   

Port NO.   

This field allows you to select the ports that will apply the settings you’ve made here. 

Tx/Rx Rate 

Here you can set the bandwidth rate of Tx (transmitting) and Rx (receiving). The bandwidth 

rate can be a number from 0 to 255, where 0 is full speed.   

Speed Base 

This scroll-down menu allows you to set the speed base of the bandwidth control:   

 

Low:

 Port 1~8

’s bandwidth resolutions are set to 32Kbps for Tx/Rx. Therefore, the 

actual Tx/Rx bandwidth will be the rate value (1~255) times 32Kbps.   

 

High: 

Port 1~8

’s bandwidth resolutions are set to 32Kbps for Tx/Rx. Therefore, the 

actual Tx/Rx bandwidth will be the rate value (1~255) times 256Kbps. If the link speed 

is set to 10MB, the rate value will be a number from 1 to 39. 

 

Port 25 and 26’s bandwidth resolutions are set to 2048Kbps for Tx/Rx. Therefore, the 

actual Tx/Rx bandwidth will be the rate value (1~255) times 2048Kbps. If the link speed 

is set to 10MB, the rate value will be a number from 1 to 4. If the link speed is set to 

100MB, the rate value will be a number from 1 to 48.
