When the instrument is turned on, a display test is performed, then a software
identification code appears, followed by its version. It is important to report these
codes in case of a service request.
When a programming procedure is not in progress, the display shows the detected weight expressed in kg
or the peak value if this has been activated. Under certain conditions, the following messages are indicated:

Overload signaling
When the gross weight weighing on the scale exceeds the maximum capacity of the
weighing system by more than 9 divisions, the display will show this warning
O-L
Weight signal absent or out of reading range

Value to be displayed negative and greater than 99999. In the case of negative value
and greater than 9999, the first digit is flashing

Use of the keyboard
The instrument is programmed and controlled through the keypad consisting of 4 keys, 3 of which have
dual functions. Selection of either key function is automatically determined by the instrument according to
the current operation. The key is used only to turn on the instrument.
In general, the programming menus are managed by using the key to scroll through the items, the
key to access the relevant submenu or programmable parameter, and the key to leave the menu or
return to the top level.
Key Operational function
(Short pressure): Semi-automatic zero or peak reset if this has been activated.
(Long pressure): Print receipt (print example on p.29)
(Short pressure): Switching weight/peak display
(Long pressure): Turning off the instrument.
(Short pressure): Semi-automatic tare.
(Long pressure): Manual tare.
