3.8 Memory management
The fusion protocols are stored in the internal memory. They will be
preserved until there will be enough space. The MEMORY MANAGEMENT
menu allows the user to select how to proceed when the memory is full:
• REMINDER: all the protocols will be deleted, to free up space. In
this case, to alert the user in advance, a message on the display
will be generated at the beginning of each welding when the
space left is less than 50 protocols. If the user will ignore all these
advices, without doing any action, the machine will suppose the
data are not relevant and, when the memory is full, they will be all
cancelled to free up space.
•
OVERWRITE: in this mode, when the memory is used up, the older
protocols will be removed to store the most recent ones.
• BLOCK: the machine will refuse to start a new welding process
when the memory is used up. To alert the user in advance, a
message on the display will be generated at the beginning of
each welding when the space left is less than 50 protocols. It is
recommended to transfer the protocols before reaching the
capacity of the memory to an USB key and delete the records
from the machine.

3.9 Resistance tolerance
The RESISTANCE TOLERANCE menu allows to set the accepted accuracy
in the coil resistance measurement. The default setting should be 5%, but
the user has the possibility to enlarge the accepted tolerance between
the value measured by the MSA when the fitting is recognized and the
nominal value printed in the barcode label of the fitting itself.
