Module description
The IO 420 offers 10 module types. The respective inputs/outputs are used in different ways depending on the
module type.
5.1 Module type “watchdog”
The “watchdog” module type can be used for monitoring a door. When the monitoring function is armed,
the door may only be opened by release. In all other cases, an alarm message is sent after the alarm suppression
and alarm delay times have expired.
When the monitoring function is not armed, the door can be opened without release.
