When using a foam sealant, make sure that it is not so expandable that it
deforms the mounting tube.
4.3 Cabling
Lay the power cable to the hole in the wall/ceiling for the mounting tube. To connect the cable
without problems, it should be laid up to the top left (10 o‘clock position) side of the hole.
Insert the plastering cover into the mounting tube to protect it from any
dirt caused by possible finishing work.
4.4 Removing the cover
Remove the SmartFan‘s front cover by unscrewing the screw at the bottom end (1). The cover has
a bayonet catch. To remove it, turn it slightly anti-clockwise (2).
