Managing Power

Open the media bay cover by sliding the release latch towards the left.

Press upwards the optical drive release latch (

) and carefully pull on

the ribbon strip (

) to remove the optical drive.

Slide the second battery pack all the way into the slot. Make sure to
observe the correct orientation (the ribbon strip must face outward for
future battery pack removal).

Close the media bay cover to secure the second battery pack.
