Installing the NRG 16-51, NRG 17-51, NRG 19-51, step 1
1. Screw the electrode extension

into the measuring electrode

2. Determine the required measuring length of the electrode.
3. Mark the appropriate length on the electrode extension

with a scriber.
4. Unscrew the electrode extension

from the electrode

and cut it.
5. After a visual inspection, screw the extension

firmly into the electrode

. Push the retain-
ing spring

onto the electrode extension

until it is securely seated in the hole

6. Fit the enlarged measuring surface: Push the washer
6
onto the enlarged measuring surface
in such a way that the surface projects 0.08 in (2 mm) beyond the underside of the washer.
Secure the washer with the set screw

in this position. Push the supplied retaining ring

over the electrode extension from below onto the washer
