7. Tool’s description
In addition to the standard tool, the processing monitoring TAURUS
®
C is equipped with a sensor-mo-
dule to record the pulling force and the pulling stroke during the riveting operation. Furthermore, the tool
may be equipped with a pressure trigger which releases the start of the setting process only if the blind
rivet is properly inserted into the application and a specific preload has been applied to the nosepiece.
A process data module is integrated in the base of the tool housing which analyses and evaluates the
recorded process data. The process analysis is visualized on the tool by means of an LED integrated into
the housing. The sensoric system used in the tool and the process data module are maintenance-free.
