Chapter 5 Advanced Applications

This chapter introduces more advanced applications.

5.1 Upgrading System Firmware

GeoVision will periodically release the updated firmware on the website. The new firmware

can be simply loaded into the GV-IP Camera over the Internet or by using the Video

Server Utility included in the Software CD.

5.1.1 Upgrading Firmware over Internet

1. In the Live View window, click the

Show System Menu

button (No. 9, Figure 3-3),

select

Remote Config

, and then click the

Firmware Upgrade

tab. This dialog box

appears.
