GV-QR1352
is a QR code and RFID card reader;
GV-DES1352
is a RFID card reader. The
two readers support dual-band frequency access cards (125 kHZ EM and 13.56 MHz
Mirfare), and their Weigand interfaces allow for integration with any standard access control
systems.
Not only having RFID reading capability, GV-QR1352, as part of
GeoVision mobile access
solution
, can read QR codes presented on smartphones to unlock doors.
QR Code Functions
GV-QR1352
can read two types of QR codes for different access control purposes. One is
single-use QR codes created by GV-ASManager’s visitor management system and used for
visitor’s access control. The other is dynamic QR codes created by GV-Mobile Access app to
represent a virtual access card, named GV-Mobile Card, for regular access control.
GeoVision’s Wiegand controllers support the first type of QR code for visitor’s access
management. But for the second type of QR code, GV-QR1352 needs to connect to GV-
AS210 / 2110 / 2120, GV-AS410 / 4110 / 4111 and GV-1620, via
RS-485 interfaces
, to
support
dynamic QR codes
and smartphone access with GV-Mobile Access app.
