Troubleshooting

Smoke comes out of the baking

compartment or the vents.

The bread goes down in the

middle and is moist on the

bottom.

It is difficult to take the

kneading blade out of the

baking pan.

The bread maker will not start

and the display shows HHH.

The ingredients have stuck to

the inside of the bread maker

or the outside of the baking

pan.

The bread has been left for too

long after baking and warming.

The bottom of the bread is

stuck to the kneading blade.

The bread maker is too hot

after the previous baking

procedure.

Incorrect program setting.

The ingredients are not mixed

or the food is not baked

correctly.

Always check that you have

selected the correct setting.

The

ON/OFF

 button was

pressed while the bread maker

was working.

There was a power cut.

The kneading blade is stuck

and cannot turn.

Dispose of the ingredients in

the baking pan and start again.

Empty the ingredients from the

baking pan and start again.

Before adding the ingredients,

ensure the kneading blade

turns freely.
Also check that the drive shaft

for the kneading blade turns

freely. If the shaft does not turn

the bread maker will need to

be repaired.

The lid was opened several

times while the bread maker

was working.

NEVER

 open the lid frequently

when the bread maker is

working unless you are adding

ingredients. Always check the

lid is correctly closed after

opening it.

Pull out the plug, and allow to

cool then clean the outside of

the baking pan and the inside

of the bread maker.

Take the bread out of the

baking pan before the warming

function has finished.

Always clean the kneading

blade and the shaft after

baking. If necessary, fill the

baking pan with warm water

and leave for 30 minutes. You

will now be able to remove the

kneading blade and clean it.

Remove the plug from the

mains socket. Open the lid and

allow the bread maker to cool

for 10-20 minutes.  After the

bread maker has cooled down,

insert the plug back into the

mains socket, and start again.
