VI. Riding the Geo Cruiser
TERRAIN
• This Geo Cruiser is designed for use on firm, even surfaces such as concrete, asphalt
and indoor flooring.
• Do not operate the Geo Cruiser in sand, loose soil or over rough terrain. Doing so may
damage wheels, bearings, axles or motors, or loosen fasteners.
DRIVING IN REVERSE
Use extra care when you drive the Geo Cruiser in reverse. You may lose control or fall if one of
the rear wheels hits an object.
• Operate the Geo Cruiser slowly and at an even speed.
• Stop often and check to make sure your path is clear of obstacles.
GETTING OFF YOUR GEO CRUISER
• Make sure to bring the Geo Cruiser to a complete stop
• Power down the unit. This way you can avoid accidently touching the joystick, thus
causing the Geo Cruiser to move while you are getting off the unit.
• Raise the armrest so that you can conveniently un-board the unit.
• Carefully and safely get out of the seat.
PUSHING THE GEO CRUISER IN FREE-WHEEL MODE
The Geo Cruiser can be pushed like a wheelchair by doing the following:
• Turn the power off
• Unlock the red “Free-wheel” levers which are located on the rear of the unit. They are
the two levers located on the motor/wheel assembly. Pushing them outward to unlock.
• You can now push the Geo Cruiser like a wheelchair
