VIII. Basic Troubleshooting
The “Speed” indicator on the joystick control panel also functions as a diagnostic indicator.
When the light is solid “green”, it is an indication that the unit is functioning properly and there
are no issues. However, if the light is flickering, it is an indication that there is a problem with the
Geo Cruiser. We recommend you turn the unit off, then power back on in 1 minute. If the green
light continues to flicker, we recommend that you review the Geo Cruiser Diagnostic Code table
to get a diagnosis of the problem, and a recommended resolution.

The Geo Cruiser will not power on.
Make sure the battery cable is properly plugged in.
The location is in the rear above the motor. You
should also make sure the “Joystick” cable is
connected to the cable that connects to the
“Controller”.
When I power on the Geo Cruiser, it turns on for
a second and all the red lights flash “On” and
then “Off”. Then a few seconds later the lights
flash “On” and “Off” and the units makes one
long continuous beep.
Unplug the “Joystick” cable and check for bent or
damaged pins. Contact us if you accidently bend
the pins when installing.
When I power on the Geo Cruiser, and move the
Joystick in any direction, the unit will not move.
It just makes an ongoing beeping sound.
Make sure the “Free Wheel” release brakes
located in the rear of the unit are pulled outward. If
they are pushed inward, the unit will just beep
when you attempt to move the joystick in any
direction.
The Geo Cruiser seat will not lock into place.
When you fold-out the Geo Cruiser, you must pull
the “Lock/Release” cable which is located directly
under the seat, and pull the backrest back, and
then release the cable. This will lock the seat into
place.
